s China begins to turn to Africa in pursuit of economic opportunities as evinced by the 2010 World Bank Doing Business Report, and by its growing investments in Africa the fortunes of the continent seem to be gradually turning over a new leaf. Yet, if Africa is to translate the increased interest in its resources into an opportunity for lasting economic gains for its people then it must find effective and innovative ways to engage the primary drivers of its productive enterprise - its young and entrepreneurial global human capital.
Under the leadership of Alliance Associate, Imen Belhadj, Tunisian PhD student from Peking University, in partnership with the Young African Professionals and Students in China (YAPS), and the advice of Adams B. Bodomo, Ghanaian professor at the University of Hong Kong, Harambe Endeavor Alliance is currently exploring effective engagement opportunities for the next generation of African professionals in the relationship between Africa and China.
