
Starting in 2008, the HBWS has assembled 100 African students and resulted in student conceived and led initiatives in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, and Nigeria, as well as advocacy efforts in China, South Africa, South Korea and United Kingdom.
Okendo, Prince and founding member Brian Kanarek, chose Bretton Woods not just because of their New Hampshire roots, but also because of the historic relevancy of Bretton Woods as the birthplace of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund in 1944.
